Josh Paine is a Leader Formation board member.  Josh is also a Partner with Providence Interactive Capital, LLC, a boutique investment firm focused on value creation through active investment participation and the application of Conscious Capitalism Principles.

Prior to joining Providence, Josh was the President and CEO of CheapCaribbean.com, the number one U.S. provider of beach vacations dedicated to the Caribbean and Mexico. Paine used his eCommerce expertise to facilitate a turnaround for the company in 2007 and subsequently sold the company to Bain Capital in 2013. Under Josh’s leadership CheapCaribbean.com grew from an unprofitable $80MM company to a highly profitable $515MM organization. Prior to his appointment to CEO, Josh served as CheapCaribbean.com’s Chief Financial Officer as well as served on the company’s Board of Directors in 2006 and 2007.

Previously Josh worked with fortune 500 companies as well as startups, including roles such as Vice President of Operations for JetPay Merchant Services in Dallas and Auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.

Josh is graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s in finance.

In 2014 Josh was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, is an Aggie 100 winner, and is a recipient of the “40 under 40” award by the Philadelphia Business Journal. Josh is also a member of Young Presidents Organization, and a board member of the Make-a-Wish Foundation (North Texas Chapter), and the West Dallas Community School. Josh is a Conscious Capitalist and enjoys building organizations of purpose with award-winning cultures, capable of making a positive difference in the world.
